## Description

The National Centre for Writing is a contemporary literature house located in the heart of England's first UNESCO City of Literature, Norwich. Their mission is to harness the transformative power of stories for personal, social, and community development. As a writing development agency, they offer a wide range of products and services that cater to both local and global audiences. Their year-round programme includes innovative collaborations, events, festivals, residencies, and activities for writers, literary translators, and readers. From in-person and online events at their Literature House to digital explorations and commissions in The Writing Hub, they create opportunities for connection, learning, and inspiration in the rapidly changing world of writing. Moreover, as a charity, the National Centre for Writing extends its work into communities across Norwich and Norfolk, engaging children, young people, families, and older individuals in using writing and creative ideas to tell their stories and shape their futures. Rooted in Norwich and open to the world, the National Centre for Writing is a hub of literary excellence, celebrating Norwich's rich literary heritage and nurturing the writers of tomorrow.
