DESTA Black Community Network is a Montreal-based brand that is dedicated to supporting and empowering Black youth in the Greater Montreal area. With a focus on education, employability, and entrepreneurship, DESTA offers a holistic and individualized approach to help young people aged 18 to 35 reach their goals. Since its establishment in 2006, DESTA has been committed to addressing the systemic and personal barriers that Black youth face in terms of employment.

Recognizing the economic needs of its participants, DESTA provides on-site structured programming and diverse training opportunities to enhance their employability and financial security. Located on the unceded lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation, DESTA acknowledges the historical significance of Tiohtiá:ke (Montreal) as a site of meeting and exchange for Indigenous communities. The organization respectfully engages with Indigenous and other peoples within the Montreal community.
