De Stroate is a youth culture center in Kortrijk, Belgium, dedicated to the Hip Hop culture - a Hip Hop Center, to be precise! It serves as a hub for all forms of expression within the Hip Hop Culture, operating as an open youth initiative. De Stroate offers a variety of workshops and events both on-site and off-site, encompassing the entire spectrum of Hip Hop, along with the Hip Hop Café. It provides a nurturing environment and coaching for young artists who are passionate about pursuing their dreams and for entrepreneurs seeking to take further steps.

De Stroate began in 2016 at JC Tranzit, the Kortrijk youth service, and has since found temporary accommodation at various locations in the city. Currently, you can find us at the newly renovated Hip Hop Palace on Zwevegemsestraat 13! Our Hip Hop House has different spaces available for use by Hip Hoppers and others.

Our Hip Hop House serves as the home and base for various crews across the Hip Hop Culture. They utilize our facilities and/or receive support while pursuing their own endeavors, whether they involve lessons, meetings, hangouts, training sessions, rehearsals, or workshops.
