## Description

Detroit Roller Derby, originally founded as Detroit Derby Girls in 2005, is the premiere roller derby league in Michigan. As a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association, we have since expanded our programs to include juniors, recreational, and alumni programs alongside competitive travel teams. Our mission is to provide a fun, exciting, well-organized, and meaningful experience for fans and participants while supporting, educating, and developing league members for national and international roller derby competition.

We practice at various venues in Detroit and Metro Detroit, with our games taking place at the renowned Masonic Temple. All levels are welcome to join as skaters, and we offer opportunities for sponsorship and volunteering. Detroit Roller Derby is a nonprofit organization with a 501c3 status, dedicated to enhancing lives and fostering an inclusive community through the evolving sport of roller derby. Stay updated with our upcoming games by signing up for our email list. Join us in celebrating this exhilarating and dynamic sport!
