## Description

De Uitzwagerij is a family-run antiques and building-materials business in Voorst, Gelderland, founded by brothers-in-law Ernst and Joost. United by a shared interest in the past, they source brocante furniture and reclaimed building materials, then restore, repair or creatively adapt each item for a new purpose. Their approach balances preserving original character with thoughtful experimentation, reflecting a commitment to giving well-made objects a longer life rather than treating them as disposable.

The assortment includes cabinets, bookcases, antique furniture, chairs, benches and tables, alongside distinctive old building materials. These can include skirting boards, sinks, beams, planks, fireplaces, radiators, tiles, hardware and original wooden doors. Pieces are presented as authentic items with individual histories, not reproductions; some are restored or refinished, and certain furniture may receive new upholstery.

De Uitzwagerij serves private customers and contractors seeking materials with character. Visitors are welcome by appointment at its Voorst location, where Ernst and Joost can help them explore the available selection.
