## Description

De Vargas is an art foundation dedicated to the work and legacy of Ramón de Vargas, a multidisciplinary artist whose principal form of expression is painting. His practice also spans photography, film, experimental video, sculpture, music composition and writing. Recognized nationally and internationally, he has received awards including the Gran Premio Sésamo and France’s Medal of Arts, Sciences and Letters, while his works have entered collections at institutions such as the Vatican Museums and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid.

The foundation presents De Vargas’s work through exhibitions, collections, media resources and a reasoned catalogue. Its collections include serigraphs, gold pieces and works related to themes such as tensions. It also designs tailored exhibitions, providing curatorial research, installation planning, catalogues and supporting materials. Visitors and collectors can order made-to-measure art reproductions, with options for size, finish and framing. In addition, the foundation offers an official process to assess works attributed to De Vargas and, when authenticity is confirmed, include them in the artist’s catalogue raisonné and issue a certificate.
