### What are the free tier limits?

For free tier limits, you'll get:

- Brand API (and including Brand Context API) 100 requests/ month
- Logo API 1M requests/ month.
- Brand Search API 500,000 requests/ month.

Rate limits:

- Logo API is capped at 1,000 requests per 5 minutes per IP, and 2,400 requests per 5 minutes per customer.
- Brand Search API is capped at 200 requests per 5 minutes per IP.

### Which API works with AI assistants?

All of them, through the Brandfetch MCP server. MCP exposes brand search, brand lookup, brand context, transaction enrichment and logo URL building as tools your assistant can call directly. It works with Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Gemini CLI and other MCP clients. MCP requests count against your existing quota. ### Are you SOC 2 compliant?

### What happens when a brand changes its logo?

It depends which product you use, with Logo API, nothing: you are hotlinking from our CDN, so the new logo appears as soon as we index it.

With Brand API you hold your own copy, so you refresh it. Our terms grant a 30-day licence on cached content, and calling the API again is what renews it.

On any paid plan you can register a webhook and receive a `brand.updated` event when a logo changes, a company detail is updated, or we index new data, so you refresh the moment something changes rather than waiting for a scheduled job.
