**Brand Description: Centre for Global Education**

The Centre for Global Education (CGE), established in 1986 in Belfast, is a prominent non-governmental organization dedicated to enhancing awareness and understanding of international development issues. CGE publishes "Policy & Practice: A Development Education Review," a biannual peer-reviewed, open-access journal that showcases innovative pedagogies, research methodologies, and critical reflections by education practitioners and academics. The journal encourages dialogue on the evolving landscape of development education, embodying values of social justice and equality.

In addition to the journal, CGE supports the capacity-building project "Building Capacity in the Development Education Sector in Ireland," which includes conferences, seminars, and networking opportunities for educators and practitioners. These initiatives aim to improve practices and foster collaboration across the development education sector.
