## Description

The Foundation for Space Development Africa is a collaboration-driven organisation focused on advancing Africa’s role in space exploration and development. Its mission is rooted in the belief that space is accessible to all humanity and that African communities and nations should participate in its peaceful exploration and use. The Foundation highlights how space technology supports communication, transportation, financial transactions, climate science, environmental protection, and progress in fields such as engineering, science, and healthcare.

Its programmes span research, education, capacity building, and practical applications of space capabilities. These include Africa2Moon, Africa FIRST, Data for Disaster Management, and the Geomagnetic Solar Climate Model (GMSC), alongside an African Astronaut Programme and work on space resources. The organisation also offers an Education Platform and Capacity Building initiatives, as well as an Economic Modelling Framework. Through its programmes, news, and opportunities to get involved, the Foundation encourages collaboration and public engagement in shaping an African future driven by exploration and innovation.
