# De Vlasselt - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `devlasselt.nl` ## Description De Vlasselt is a local heritage society dedicated to the history, culture, nature and communities of Terheijden, Wagenberg and Langeweg in the Netherlands. Its purpose is to connect residents with their region and encourage knowledge of local people, traditions and landscape, while supporting the preservation of historical values. The society shares its research through publications, producing three to four booklets each year on subjects related to the area. Its website also features local stories, historical articles, news and information about upcoming events. Members can take part in activities such as village quizzes, family days, bus trips and guided historical walks. Volunteers contribute through working groups that care for local heritage and sites, including the Eendenkooi, the Munnikenhof defence line, the Spinolaschans and the Maria chapel at Poolse Dreef. Activities combine historical preservation, education and ecological care, and the society also offers free guided excursions at the Eendenkooi.
