## Description

De VvZ (De Verbinding van Zorgcoöperaties) supports care entrepreneurs in creating and developing small-scale care cooperatives. Its mission is to improve access to care for vulnerable people, especially those with complex needs who may be underserved by mainstream providers. Each cooperative brings together up to ten like-minded care businesses, helping preserve their individual values while building stronger connections, sharing knowledge, managing risks and reducing costs.

De VvZ works with providers serving people with severe multiple disabilities, intellectual disabilities requiring intensive support, autism, and young people leaving closed youth-care settings. It also supports parent-led initiatives for children with serious intellectual or physical disabilities. Its services include helping entrepreneurs establish or join a cooperative, developing their personal and business capabilities, supporting compliance with care regulations, and coordinating contracting and quality oversight. By connecting providers and helping them meet recognized standards, De VvZ aims to ease administrative demands for both entrepreneurs and funders, including municipalities and regional care offices.
