## Description

H.C.V. de Windbuul’n is a carnival association based in Hengelo, Netherlands, dedicated to bringing the community together through festive events and traditions. Founded on January 1, 1951, it is described as the oldest carnival association in Twente and has celebrated carnival in Hengelo for more than 70 years. The association’s city prince represents Hengelo, while a youth city princess and her adjudant help lead celebrations for younger participants.

The Windbuul’n organizes activities throughout the carnival season and supports them through a broad network of committees, including event, youth, dance, parade-float building, decorations, and technical teams. Its website shares information about the association’s leaders, members, events, calendar, photographs, and videos, and provides a way to join. Visitors can also buy association merchandise through its webshop, including pins, jackets, sunglasses, and Buul’nbitter. The organization is supported by sponsors and maintains social media channels to keep members and the public informed about its carnival activities and community life.
