# DHPC - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `dhpc.org.uk` ## Description The Dales Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club is a long-established flying club founded in 1974 by enthusiasts seeking to organise flying activities and maintain good relationships with local landowners. It affiliated with the British Hang Gliding Association in 1975 and has since grown into one of the country’s well-supported clubs. The club welcomes hang-glider and paraglider pilots, encouraging members to take part in its activities and contribute to its community. Its resources include information on flying sites, weather, safety, site warnings and club rules, helping pilots understand local conditions and respect land access requirements. The club also shares news, hosts competitions and provides a forum and library for members. While the site highlights the club’s flying community rather than commercial services, its programme includes coaching and opportunities to learn from experienced pilots. Regular winter club nights feature social gatherings and talks on subjects such as cross-country flying, alongside an annual dinner with local farmers and an AGM. Members can also purchase club-branded T-shirts and polo shirts. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Extreme Sports _(under Sports)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/DalesHangGlidingParaglidingClub) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idgVdjKaAr/w/124/h/98/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792876140787) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idgVdjKaAr/w/525/h/525/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792876140920) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Persian Blue | #1748c1 | accent | | Catalina Blue | #0d3c7c | dark | | Mongoose | #b99b81 | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
