Medix Biochemica is an independent, international supplier of raw materials for the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry. With Finnish roots and a global presence, the company provides high-quality antibodies, antigens and other critical materials that help IVD manufacturers develop diagnostic tests and related products. In July 2021, Medix Biochemica acquired Diaclone, a provider of monoclonal antibodies and immunoassay kits, expanding its portfolio and scientific capabilities and strengthening its presence in Western Europe. Diaclone products are now available through Medix Biochemica.

The product range includes antibodies, antigens, enzymes, proteins, molecular reagents, biospecimens and other biological materials, as well as immunoassay kits. Diaclone’s ELISA kits support sensitive measurement of native and recombinant proteins, while its ELISpot and Fluorospot kits enable analysis of cytokine and other molecule secretion at the single-cell level. Products serve research and diagnostic applications across areas including immunology, inflammation and oncology. Medix Biochemica also offers contract manufacturing, development and analytical services, along with technical resources, product catalogs and scientific publications to support customers in life science, pharmaceutical, IVD and veterinary markets.
