## Description

Diamond Day Gardens provides sustainable garden design and care in Calgary and surrounding areas. Founded by Calgary-based gardener Anne Garth, the business brings together horticultural knowledge and landscape design to create gardens suited to local conditions. Calgary’s varied microclimates, each with distinct challenges and opportunities, inform designs that consider both a client’s lifestyle and the character of their location. The company prioritizes sustainable materials and native plants, aiming to create climate-resilient landscapes that connect with the prairie environment.

Services include landscape design and installation, with design consultations available for a $150 fee, and garden maintenance plans tailored by an experienced horticulturalist to each space. Diamond Day Gardens uses sustainable horticultural practices and avoids gas-powered leaf blowers. The business also creates seasonal planters using natural materials and, whenever possible, locally grown plants, with arrangements designed to support pollinators. Customers can order planters or subscriptions and take part in workshops, including sessions on making winter wreaths with natural evergreens and florals.
