## Description

Eishockey Club Neuwied e. V., known as Die Bären, is an ice hockey club carrying forward Neuwied’s long-standing connection with the sport. The club celebrates a 44-year tradition in the city and brings fans fast-paced hockey, lively match-day atmosphere, and close contact with its teams. Its first team is the club’s flagship, with home games at the Neuwied Icehouse regularly attracting more than 1,500 spectators. The club lists its 2026/27 season in the Oberliga Nord and provides schedules and ticket options, including day tickets and season passes.

Developing future players is also central to the club’s work. Its youth program includes teams from U11 through U20, supported by a modern development approach, while a skating school introduces participants to skating. Fans and visitors can follow club news, attend games, and connect through the supporters’ community. The business club offers invited guests opportunities to enjoy food and conversation, build contacts, and meet players after matches. EHC Neuwied also provides sponsorship and supporter packages for those wishing to support the club.
