## Description

Dierenambulance Frl is a charitable animal ambulance foundation serving animals and their owners in Friesland, the Netherlands. Its work focuses on providing urgent assistance to animals in distress, including pets and wildlife that are injured in traffic accidents, become ill, or are trapped in difficult situations. The team responds to emergencies and provides appropriate help for different kinds of injuries.

The foundation also transports animals and their owners, including trips to veterinary practices and journeys for animals requiring medical care. It aims to make transport less stressful for both animals and their owners. In addition, Dierenambulance Frl offers education, information and advice to promote awareness of animal welfare, as well as transport and support for animal funerals.

Its service area includes Achtkarspelen, Heerenveen, Opsterland, Ooststellingwerf, Smallingerland and Weststellingwerf. The organisation reports helping more than 1,500 animals and handling over 2,500 conversations each year. Dierenambulance Frl invites people to volunteer, donate or provide sponsorship, and holds ANBI charitable status in the Netherlands.
