## Description

Dig2Grow is the website and professional platform of writers David R. Montgomery and Anne Biklé, a husband-and-wife team whose work explores the connections among soil, agriculture, food, and human health. Montgomery is a geologist, and Biklé is a biologist. Through their books, writing, and public appearances, they encourage people to protect the well-being of communities and the planet by improving how we care for soil.

Their books examine agriculture from complementary perspectives. Dirt traces the history of soil and the consequences societies face when they fail to protect it. The Hidden Half of Nature explores the microbiomes of soil, plants, and people, and their relevance to farming and medicine. Growing a Revolution profiles farmers using regenerative practices to restore soil fertility and farm productivity. What Your Food Ate investigates how farming practices affect soil, crops, livestock, and human health. Their forthcoming book, ReGen: A New Future for Farming, Food, and Health, advocates making soil-building practices central to agriculture and food systems.
