The Centre for Digital Entertainment (CDE) is an EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training based at the University of Bath and Bournemouth University. Since its establishment in 2009, the CDE has been funding doctoral researchers in the fields of games, visual effects, and animation. With £20 million of investment, CDE offers outstanding opportunities to both students and companies.

As a national Doctoral Training Centre in these sectors, CDE has funded approximately 100 students who gain exceptional industry experience during their placements.
