## Description

Digital Medievalist is an international community formed in 2003, dedicated to connecting medievalists leveraging digital media for their scholarly work. The platform fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange through various initiatives, promoting best practices in the digital humanities. Members benefit from an electronic mailing list and discussion forum, providing a collegial environment for inquiries and information sharing.

The organization publishes an online refereed journal, "Digital Medievalist," which showcases a diverse range of original research, technological reviews, and commentary relevant to digital medieval studies. Submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process, ensuring high-quality contributions that engage with topics valuable to the community.

In addition to its scholarly outputs, Digital Medievalist organizes conference sessions at key international congresses, further enriching the discussion around digital approaches to medieval studies. With a volunteer-based governance structure and an executive board, Digital Medievalist remains an essential resource for scholars seeking to navigate the intersection of technology and medieval scholarship.
