## Description

The PRESENCE project is at the forefront of enhancing interactions in eXtended Reality (XR) environments, focusing on making virtual experiences more immersive and realistic. This initiative develops innovative tools across three primary areas: Holoportation, which allows users to interact in 3D as if they are present in the same physical space; advanced Haptic technology delivering realistic touch sensations in virtual settings; and the creation of lifelike Virtual Humans—virtual avatars and AI agents that simulate human behavior and emotions.

PRESENCE also fosters collaboration through initiatives like the Joint Business Clinic, aimed at gathering insights from users to shape future developments. This project emphasizes market validation and partnerships to accelerate the adoption of XR technologies in various fields, including professional collaboration, training, healthcare, and cultural heritage. By co-creating solutions with stakeholders, PRESENCE is dedicated to ensuring its innovations meet the evolving needs of users in an increasingly digital world.
