## Description

Digitaliseringsstyrelsen, Denmark’s Agency for Digital Government, leads the country’s digital development, working to create value for citizens, businesses and public organisations and to address wider societal challenges. The agency supports a connected, accessible and trusted digital public sector through national services, guidance, strategies and oversight.

Its portfolio includes widely used digital solutions such as MitID, MitID Erhverv, Digital Post, NemKonto, NemLog-in, Borger.dk and digital apps for driving licences and health cards. The agency also provides support for these services and resources to help people and organisations use them.

For public bodies and businesses, Digitaliseringsstyrelsen offers guidance on digital architecture, public data, cloud services, artificial intelligence, digital inclusion, user experience and digital-ready legislation. Its work also covers telecommunications, broadband, digital infrastructure and supervision of rules concerning digital services, data and cybersecurity. Initiatives such as SMV:Digital help small and medium-sized businesses with digital development. Through information, tools, support and policy work, the agency helps Denmark’s citizens, companies and public sector navigate an increasingly digital society.
