## Description

Dijkstra-Group B.V. is a family-run equine technology company founded in April 2025 by Meindert and Sytie Dijkstra, alongside Frederik and Delina Dijkstra. Building on decades of experience in entrepreneurship and animal monitoring, the company focuses on improving horse welfare and giving peace of mind to the people who care for horses. Its approach combines practical experience as horse enthusiasts, breeders and owners with technical expertise in electronics, software and artificial intelligence. Products are developed and improved in collaboration with horse professionals, with an emphasis on non-invasive, stress-free monitoring.

The company’s brands include Birth Alarm, a foaling monitor trusted by breeders worldwide for more than 30 years. It detects when a mare lies down in a critical way and alerts owners so they can respond promptly. Coho Camera is a 4G AI camera that monitors a horse’s behaviour and posture around the clock in settings such as stables, trailers and competitions, sending alerts when it detects potential concerns.
