## Description

Dingle Literary Festival, also known as Dingle Lit or Féile Liteartha Chorca Dhuibhne, is a volunteer-run literary festival held on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. Established in 2019, it brings readers, writers and speakers together for a weekend of literary events in the distinctive surroundings of Dingle. The 2026 festival is scheduled for 20–22 November, with tickets and a festival brochure available through its website.

The programme includes author talks, conversations, book-related events and creative writing workshops, including workshops in Irish. The festival also provides practical information for visitors, publishes news and programme updates, and offers opportunities to volunteer or support its work through donations. Dingle Lit says it aims to pay authors and speakers fairly, in line with Arts Council recommendations, and uses donations to help sustain the festival and support writers. Its welcoming events and engaged audiences are central to its identity, creating opportunities for visitors to hear from authors, discuss books and take part in the local literary community.
