# Dioxin 2023 - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `dioxin2023.org` ## Description Dioxin2023 is the 43rd International Symposium on Halogenated Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), held September 10–14, 2023, in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Organized by a local organizing committee, the symposium continues an international series that brings together researchers and professionals to share scientific advances and discuss emerging issues in POPs. Its subject matter spans legacy pollutants, including dioxins, PCBs and PBDEs, as well as emerging flame retardants, PFAS, chlorinated paraffins, PCNs and related compounds.
