## Description

The Department of Finance (DOF) for the Government of Dubai, established in 1995, is dedicated to managing the financial and accounting affairs of the emirate. With a focus on developing and executing the government's annual budget, DOF ensures effective allocation and utilization of financial resources across local government entities. Among its key responsibilities is the oversight of government banking accounts and the preparation of consolidated financial statements, crucial for transparency and accountability.

Additionally, DOF aims to enhance the sustainability of Dubai's public sector through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Unit. This unit drives essential policies for governmental entities, provides standardized guidelines for project execution, and assists in project identification and negotiation processes. By fostering high-quality infrastructure and economic growth, DOF plays a vital role in cementing Dubai's financial stability and promoting comprehensive development across the emirate. Through these initiatives, DOF seeks to create a robust financial framework that supports the ongoing evolution of Dubai as a leading global city.
