## Description

Disability in Kidlit is a platform dedicated to fostering discussions surrounding the portrayal of disabilities in middle grade and young adult literature. Through articles, reviews, interviews, and discussions, we explore this important topic from the perspective of disabled individuals. Our goal is to help readers, booksellers, librarians, educators, and writers identify authentic and respectful representations of disabilities in YA/MG novels. We aim to provide the necessary tools for assessing these portrayals and offer a space for the disability community to share their thoughts on various works. With a diverse group of guest contributors, including writers, bloggers, and activists, we strive to present a wide range of experiences and perspectives. Join us on Twitter, Tumblr, and Goodreads to be part of this important conversation led by our team of passionate editors and contributors.
