## Description

Disability Support Europe, formerly known as EASPD, is a European non-governmental network and a leading voice for disability services. It represents more than 20,000 social and health support provider organisations in 50 countries, working across a range of disabilities. The network promotes human rights and equal opportunities for people with disabilities, advocating for effective, high-quality support and person-centred services that empower individuals.

Its work spans education, employment, inclusive living, early childhood intervention, arts and culture, workforce development, technology, and funding for social services. Disability Support Europe advances these priorities through advocacy, collaborative projects, member forums, events, research, and publications. Its resources include a Knowledge Hub, the European Care Certificate, and the EURECO Innovation Awards, supporting knowledge-sharing and development across the sector. The organisation also offers membership and networking opportunities, including its Lighthouse Network, and connects providers with information about European funding. Based in Brussels, Disability Support Europe works with members and partners to help build more inclusive communities and improve support for people with disabilities across Europe.
