## Description

The Disabled Parenting Project (DPP) is a dedicated online community that focuses on the unique experiences and needs of parents and prospective parents with disabilities. Operated as part of the National Research Center for Parents with Disabilities, the DPP provides a vital platform for sharing advice, resources, and personal narratives. Its mission seeks to empower disabled parents through scholarly research, informative fact sheets, and training resources crafted by and for the community.

DPP fosters connections through its interactive features, including blogs, podcasts, and Twitter chats, promoting discussions that address the challenges faced by disabled parents. The platform also curates a marketplace for adaptive parenting products, allowing members to buy, sell, and trade essential items. Committed to social justice, the DPP aims to influence social policy by highlighting disparities and discrimination affecting this underserved population. By bringing together voices and resources, the Disabled Parenting Project strives to create a supportive environment for disabled individuals navigating parenthood.
