## Description

Disc Golf South (DGS) is a disc golf club based in Invercargill, New Zealand, and describes itself as the home of the sport in the city. Established in 2018, the club began with the installation of its foundation course in Queens Park, a popular setting where players of all ages now enjoy regular rounds. Hundreds of rounds are played there each month, reflecting the course’s appeal to both newcomers and experienced participants.

DGS supports local disc golf through its courses, social club rounds, and events, and members also travel to competitive events across New Zealand and internationally. The club welcomes people who want to get involved, whether they are interested in casual play, meeting other players, or competing. Visitors can follow DGS on Facebook and Instagram for posts, videos, and updates about upcoming events. The club also shares sport updates through the free Sporty NZ mobile app, available from the App Store and Google Play. Disc Golf South is located on Kelvin Street in Invercargill.
