## Description

Discord is a communication service that aims to provide an easy-to-use platform for people to connect, build relationships, and find a sense of belonging. With over a hundred million users worldwide, Discord offers voice, video, and text communication options. Founded in 2015 by Jason Citron and Stan Vishnevskiy, Discord was created to address the challenge of communicating with friends while playing games online. They wanted to develop a service that encouraged genuine conversations, formed lasting memories, and fostered a sense of togetherness. Over the years, Discord has evolved into a versatile platform that goes beyond casual chat. It has become a place where users can create communities, participate in conversations, and develop friendships that extend beyond gaming. From local hiking clubs to study groups, Discord has become a hub for various communities, with millions of users spending hours each day on the platform. With 150 million monthly active users and 19 million active servers per week, Discord has become the go-to platform for people to connect, hang out, and build relationships. Whether you're looking to join an existing community or create your own space, Discord offers a welcoming and comfortable environment to find belonging. Join Discord today and experience the power of genuine connections.
