## Description

Дискурс is an independent Russian-language media platform and open journal covering culture, science, art, and society. Its horizontal editorial model invites readers and contributors to take part in shaping the publication, rather than relying on a traditional owner-led structure. The platform publishes articles and offers a range of formats, including literature, visual galleries, music, video, podcasts, and themed projects. Its sections and special projects explore topics through stories, commentary, and educational content, with resources such as a guide to writing and a library of useful tools. Readers can browse authors and themes, suggest ideas, submit material, report errors, propose collaborations, or apply to join the editorial team. Discourse describes itself as having no owner, investor, or advertising; it is sustained by reader participation and donations, which support its work and independent authors. The journal also offers an email newsletter featuring selected publications, sent approximately once every three months. Through its open community and varied editorial formats, Discourse encourages ongoing conversation about contemporary culture, knowledge, and public life.
