Discover the Forest is a public service campaign, created by the Ad Council in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, that aims to inspire families to connect with nature and strengthen their bond with each other. Spending time in nature has numerous benefits, and this campaign encourages parents of tweens to explore local parks and forests with their families. By doing so, they create lasting memories and introduce their children to an environment where imagination thrives. The U.S. Forest Service, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, manages public lands in national forests and grasslands, covering a vast area of 193 million acres. Their mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the nation's forests and grasslands for present and future generations. The Ad Council, a national non-profit organization, brings together talent from the advertising and communications industries to create and promote public service campaigns on behalf of non-profit organizations and government agencies. Through Discover the Forest, they aim to encourage families to embrace the outdoors and experience the wonders of nature.
