## Description

Discovery Richmond offers guided walking tours that reveal the history, scenery and hidden character of Richmond upon Thames and surrounding areas in south-west London. Led by knowledgeable local guides, the tours combine royal heritage, local stories, riverside landscapes and wildlife, offering a distinctive way to explore beyond the city’s familiar attractions. Public tours run from June to October, while private, custom tours are available year-round.

The range includes walks in Richmond, Twickenham, Kew, Brentford, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Petersham and Ham. Routes explore historic villages, canals, waterfronts, gardens, meadows, mansions and notable landmarks, with subjects ranging from royal connections and famous residents to industry, regeneration and local folklore. Some walks cross the Thames by ferry, and the Petersham and Ham tour offers an optional visit to Ham House.

Discovery Richmond also provides longer cycling tours and can tailor private itineraries to guests’ interests. Whether visitors are new to the area or already know it well, the company aims to share lesser-known places and fresh perspectives through engaging, informative experiences.
