## Description

Bernice Hill, the creator of Dish 'n' the Kitchen, is a talented writer, recipe developer, photographer, and techie based in Calgary, Alberta. Her recipes reflect her city-girl upbringing with a farm-girl heart, rooted in a childhood spent working in a large garden and enjoying farm-fresh eating throughout the year. Like many home cooks, Bernice learned to cook alongside her grandmother, and later honed her culinary skills during her years living abroad in Western Australia and traveling to various countries, including South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The diverse cuisines and local food scenes from her travels continue to inspire Bernice's creations, adding unique global influences to her cooking. With a passion for preserving recipes and an extensive background in paleontology, her approach to cooking and food knowledge is both eclectic and extensive. Whether it's traditional recipes from her French Canadian, Hungarian, and German roots or contemporary creations, Bernice's blog offers a wealth of culinary inspiration for home cooks and food enthusiasts.
