# Dismappa Verona

- **Website:** <https://dismappa.it>
- **Primary alias:** `dismappa.it`

## Description

Since 2012, the project has highlighted the historic city centre by mapping accessible places, including monuments, museums, shops, restaurants, and parking facilities. Its guides and accessibility profiles help visitors plan trips and explore the city, while information about restricted traffic zones and accessible routes supports practical travel needs.

The website also shares news about Verona’s cultural and artistic life, including exhibitions, performances, events, and activities, with particular attention to free events. Visitors can browse event listings, maps, photographs, and stories that document the city and its accessible spaces.

Since 2016, disMappa has also operated Casa disMappa, offering free accommodation in the heart of Verona’s historic centre for tourists who use wheelchairs. Through its mapping, visitor information, cultural coverage, and hospitality, disMappa promotes a more inclusive experience of Verona for residents and travellers alike.
