# District - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `district9.ca` ## Description AA in Grey and Bruce is a local Alcoholics Anonymous resource serving communities across Grey and Bruce counties in Ontario. Georgian Bay West Area 86 District 9 supports people seeking information about recovery from alcoholism and opportunities to connect with others through AA meetings. Its meeting coverage includes Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain, Chatsworth, Clarksburg, Dundalk, Eugenia, Hepworth, Lion’s Head, Markdale, Meaford, Owen Sound, Sauble Beach and Thornbury. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship in which members share experience, strength and hope to address a common problem and help others recover from alcoholism. The only membership requirement is a desire to stop drinking; there are no dues or fees, and the fellowship is supported by member contributions. AA states that it is independent of political, religious and other outside affiliations, and its primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. The district website provides meeting information, details about the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, GSR resources, event updates, contact information and links to additional support, including Al-Anon tools. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Addictions _(under Health)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idNTWO3jiT/w/501/h/498/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792963480327) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Navy Blue | #020381 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #313131 | dark | | Cherokee | #fdd79a | light | ## Fonts - Sanchez — asset _(google)_ - Merriweather Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
