## Description

This independent personal website brings together the owner’s interests in model railways, real-world railways, cycling and hiking. Its model railway section focuses on a privately built N-scale layout, with track plans, Wintrack resources, custom 3D models, scenery, locomotives and rolling stock. It also documents computer control inspired by signal boxes, including the MpC system, a timetable module, servo-operated points, a camera wagon and home-built vehicles.

The railway section features reports, photographs and videos about historic and scenic lines, railway museums, steam trains and journeys, particularly in Switzerland and Germany. Topics include the Furka Steam Railway, the Glacier Express, the Bernina Railway and the Niederrhein RB31 route, alongside model locomotive construction and a developing Zusi 3 simulation.

Cycling pages share trip accounts from the Niederrhein, Germany, Switzerland and beyond, covering routes such as the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path, the 100 Castles Route and journeys along the Rhine. GPS data is available to download for the tours.
