With more than 1,500 members, it is one of Holwerd’s largest associations and continues a tradition that began with neighbours helping one another. Its purpose is to provide members with a dignified funeral, guided by the wishes of the deceased or their family. The association emphasizes personal, familiar care during a difficult time and does not seek to profit from its members. Funeral leaders Watse Elzinga and Janneke Kempenaar help deliver the association’s services. De Laatste Eer encourages people of all ages to join and supports the continued strength of its local community. The organization is part of a wider Frisian network whose member associations collectively serve around 165,000 people. Residents can contact the association for information about membership and funeral arrangements, or reach its secretary, Rianna de Beer Talsma, by email. The association also shares meeting information and local updates through its downloadable materials. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Decease _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/uitvaartfederatie) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idETKF1P7k/w/512/h/512/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793403632698) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idETKF1P7k/w/585/h/585/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793403632899) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Valencia | #d64334 | accent | | Cello | #1f405d | dark | | Powder Blue | #abdde5 | light | ## Fonts - var(--mnslq-font-family) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
