## Description

The Deutsches Medizinhistorisches Museum in Ingolstadt is dedicated to exploring the history of European medicine. With its current special exhibition STEINREICH, the museum delves into the Schneidhaus of the Fugger family in Augsburg. Located in a stunning Baroque building known as the Alte Anatomie, the permanent exhibition on the upper floor showcases the medical world of the 18th century, while the ground floor highlights 21 Strong Objects from the museum's collection. Admission is not required to visit the Herbal Plant Garden, museum café, or museum shop. The museum also hosts various events, has an online shop, and offers a YouTube channel called DMMIvideo. In recognition of its excellence, the Deutsches Medizinhistorisches Museum was awarded the Bavarian Museum Prize in 2021. Join one of their guided tours, such as the After-Work Anniversary Tour, or attend educational workshops like Junge Anatomie: Was blüht denn da? to further explore the fascinating world of medicine.
