## Description

The DMSG Landesverband Sachsen e. V. is the Saxony branch of the German Multiple Sclerosis Society, supporting people affected by multiple sclerosis for decades. It is a self-help organisation, specialist association, care provider and independent advocate for the interests of people with MS in the region. Its work aims to ensure that no one has to face the condition alone.

The organisation offers personal advice on questions related to MS, including social and practical concerns. Members and other people affected can connect through local groups and meet-ups across Saxony, as well as seminars and outings covering topics such as exercise, wellbeing, art and nutrition. Its activities also include functional training, with sessions offered in Leipzig for people with MS or similar neurodegenerative conditions, and online peer support through MS Connect.

DMSG Sachsen shares information about diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, and organises regional events featuring talks on medical topics, therapies and everyday support.
