## Description

Deutsche Model United Nations e.V. is a non-profit organization dedicated to political education through political action. Our goal is to engage young adults in international politics and the United Nations. Since our establishment in 2003, we have been actively involved in political youth education and youth empowerment on both national and international levels. We organize political role-playing games where young people aged 15 to 21 simulate United Nations conferences. In addition, we advocate for political youth education and the participation of young people in political processes on an international scale.

We host three Model United Nations conferences each year, offering youth the opportunity to discuss current global issues from the perspective of a UN member state or a non-governmental organization. With approximately 400 participants, our Model UN conferences are among the largest political role-playing games in Germany.

As a non-governmental organization with special advisory status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and an affiliation with the United Nations Department of Public Information, we bring our experience in political youth education and interactions with young people to contribute to the work of the United Nations. We also share our knowledge and expertise in organizing and implementing large-scale projects with other organizations.
