## Description

DnA Artists is a creative collaboration between Dana Amundsen and Alex O’Keefe, Midwest-based zinesters, illustrators, and comic artists who have worked together since 2010, even when living far apart. Their distinct styles shape a shared practice: Dana draws girls with swords and cats, while Alex creates nature-inspired, gothic illustrations featuring bunnies. Through their online shop, DnA Artists offers creative work and publications, including zines and comics, and invites visitors to subscribe to its newsletter for updates. The site also features a blog with behind-the-scenes posts and recaps of events such as comic and zine festivals. DnA participates in events including the Nashville Comic Arts Festival, A2CAF: SIP, Zinecinnati, and SLICE, connecting its work with readers and fellow creators. Its website brings together information about the artists, their publications, shop, blog, and upcoming appearances, presenting a collaborative illustration and independent publishing practice rooted in comics, zines, and distinctive character-driven art.
