## Description

Dobromed, formally the Foundation for Wellbeing and Medicine, is a nonprofit organisation based in Katowice, Poland. Its guiding idea is “helping those who help others”: the foundation supports people whose work and care benefit others, with a focus on wellbeing, health and assistance for people with disabilities and their caregivers.

Dobromed develops and delivers social and health initiatives in collaboration with partners. Its activities include free preventive screening, such as an anti-HCV testing campaign for medical students, and projects supporting mental health care. The foundation has also provided therapeutic aids and organised workshops focused on the integration and wellbeing of caregivers of people with disabilities. Its work includes support for psychologists through grant-funded projects and cooperation with organisations such as the Medical University of Silesia and the Gwiazda Nadziei Foundation.

Through these programmes, Dobromed offers practical resources, education and opportunities for support to people involved in care and health services.
