## Description

Doctor Dada is the creative platform of Jonathan Cooper, an Australian art educator, writer, lecturer, curator and website manager. The name grew from interactive performances he developed in the 1990s at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, where he worked in museum education and later coordinated education and online programs. Through playful, audience-participatory activities, Cooper explored how people understand art, artistic styles and the principles of composition.

The site brings together his writing and resources on art appreciation, modern art, life drawing, art and mathematics, and the experience of visiting museums. It also features material about Esperanto, including an introduction, recommended websites and a micro-course, alongside videos and a text converter. Visitors can browse his blog and learn about his background and interests, which include computer programming and mathematics. Cooper left the Gallery in 2013 to work independently, offering freelance writing, lecturing, curatorial and website-management services. Doctor Dada presents his work through an accessible, curious approach that connects art with broader ideas and encourages people to engage imaginatively.
