## Description

Doctors for America is a physician-led, nonpartisan organization that brings together physicians, medical trainees, and advocates to advance health equity and shape healthcare policy nationwide. Grounded in clinical experience and evidence, it works to protect patients, improve access to affordable care, strengthen community health and prevention, and promote health justice and equity. The organization equips members to turn their expertise and community perspectives into advocacy, with opportunities to engage in policy campaigns and contact policymakers through its Action Center. Its programs include an FDA Task Force, Advocacy Grand Rounds, webinars, toolkits and other educational resources, a National Leadership Conference, the Copello Health Advocacy Fellowship, and an Op-Ed Program. Doctors for America also hosts events, shares impact stories, and connects members with issue-focused subcommittees, partners, and coalitions. Through membership, training, public communications, and collaboration, it supports doctors, students, and advocates at different stages of their advocacy journey. Its stated priorities center on putting patients first and advancing policies that promote more equitable healthcare for all.
