## Description

Doctors Opposing Circumcision (D.O.C.) is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 by Dr. George C. Denniston, dedicated to advocating for the genital integrity of children. With a mission to educate parents and medical professionals, D.O.C. opposes routine infant circumcision, emphasizing that the foreskin is a normal, healthy part of the human body that should be preserved. The organization believes that all children, regardless of gender or cultural background, have the right to make informed decisions about their own bodies.

D.O.C. provides a wealth of resources including educational materials, professional guidance, and support for parents navigating circumcision issues. Their initiatives include raising awareness through presentations, research publications, and media outreach. They also produce educational films and maintain lists of foreskin-friendly healthcare providers. Committed to protecting children's rights, D.O.C. collaborates with various organizations globally to promote alternatives to non-consensual genital surgeries. Their vision is a world free from forced genital cutting, prioritizing ethical medical practices and human rights.
