## Description

Dodam Foster Foundation (DFF) is a nonprofit child-rearing and mission foundation established to help students in mission communities who face financial barriers to continuing their education. Guided by Christian faith, it aims to give children access to learning and support them in envisioning and pursuing a hopeful future. The foundation continues the work of its predecessor, Ohana Foster Foundation, which supported about 300 students in nine countries from September 2008 to March 2022.

Dodam works with children across mission fields in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, including the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, Cambodia, Kenya, and Mexico. Its core service is education sponsorship, offered through one-to-one child sponsorship until adulthood and one-time donations directed to children in need. Supporters may also contribute to administrative operations or volunteer professional skills; these administrative contributions are kept separate from child sponsorship funds. Dodam states that 100 percent of child-rearing donations go toward children’s education and care. Sponsors can receive updates about sponsored children, newsletters, event invitations, and donation tax-deduction receipts.
