## Description

Doe Week Dommelen is a volunteer-organised summer holiday event for children aged 4 to 13, based in Dommelen, the Netherlands. Held during the final week of the summer holidays, it gives children an active and memorable way to round off their break. Around 850 children take part in a week of games, sports, hut building, creative activities, adventure, parties and opportunities to make friends and play together. Participants are placed in age-based groups: P-groups for ages 4–6, A-groups for 7–8, B-groups for 9–10 and C-groups for 11–13. Each year’s programme includes daily activities, along with practical information such as travel details, schedules, what to bring and safety guidance. The week concludes with a spectacular campfire. Doe Week Dommelen also welcomes volunteers and invites supporters to become a “Friend of Doe Week” for an annual contribution of €5. The 2026 edition, themed “Doe Week: The Mystery,” is scheduled for 17–21 August.
