## Description

The Dokumentationsarchiv des österreichischen Widerstandes (DÖW) is a comprehensive resource center that documents and preserves the history of resistance movements in Austria. With a dedicated team of researchers and experts, the DÖW provides an extensive range of products and services. Their online databases include detailed information on victims of the Shoah, victims of the Gestapo, and victims of political persecution. Users can search for specific individuals or browse through biographies and stories of resistance. The archive also features a collection of photographs and documents from the years 1934-1945. Additionally, the DÖW offers research services, an extensive library, and access to various projects and publications. Their mission is to educate and raise awareness about extremism by offering educational programs and organizing exhibitions that explore the history of right-wing extremism. They also provide media monitoring to track and expose extremist organizations. With ongoing projects and plans, including a forthcoming handbook on the Holocaust in Austria, the DÖW continues to contribute to our understanding of history and the fight against extremism.
